Virtual Friends
Thanks to the internet, no one needs to be lonely anymore. It is amazing how many tools we have to ease communication with other people using the internet, such as instant messengers, forums, web boards or adult dating websites. However, as with internet dating gives you more options (how else you would be able to flirt with someone from another country?) it also requires you to be smarter and more specific about your choices. The anonymity of the online world gives us somewhat a power to forget about shyness or fear of rejection, and once our barriers are down, it's easier to establish strong relationships with people we haven't met before.
All of the sudden we are talking to a complete stranger things that we never did to our best "offline" friends. But though in one hand we are able to see someone else's personality completely "stripped" off clothing, we can't even figure how this person looks physically. Pictures and descriptions can't be deceiving when it comes to online dating. Even so looking at the most perfect and describing picture, we don't know how we would feel by meeting this person, since making friends and establishing romantic neither relationships hinge on matters chemistry. There are a lot of other factors aside from physical appearance to determine if relationships work, such as body language.
It's important to take things slowly, as on internet dating relationships may develop and become more intimate very quickly. When meeting some of your online friends in person, be truthful to your standard dating guidelines. That is, don't do anything you won't do in an "offline" dating.

free. All you have to do is to sign up to one of those services and start
browsing through different profiles to find people of your interest. Starting
relationships on the internet may be interesting and fun.
